Finally some good news in the United States justice system. Deputy District Attorney David B. Walgren, 43, has been appointed a Judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

David Walgren and Deborah Brazil became heroes as the Prosecutors in the case of the People of the State of California v. Conrad Robert Murray. Their tenacity and legal brilliance brought the murderer of Michael Jackson to justice. Testimony indicated that Murray had played the key role in MJ’s death on June 25, 2009. In his own closing argument he called the overuse of Propofol for Michael Jackson’s insomnia was an “obscene experiment” and that “this is bizarre, unethical, unconscionable behaviour. Michael Jackson trusted Conrad Murray. He trusted him with his life; he paid with his life.”

In November 2011, the jury found Murray guilty after about eight hours of deliberation and he was sentenced to four years in prison for involuntary manslaughter.

Kudos to Mr. Walgren, I as an advocate for airwave abuse and injustices toward any human being living or dead, welcome someone with his legal knowledge, professionalism and integrity to the Los Angeles Superior Court. I am a Canadian, however, residents of California are very fortunate to have Judge Walgren in this position of authority.

I believe that Michael would never have gone through those 15 years of torture if Judge Walgren had been in the forefront at that time. Millions of dollars of taxpayers money could have been saved and there would have been no Conrad Murray to prosecute. Instead we have Sneddon and others with their “golden parachutes” living off the hog and enjoying the life that Michael will never have.
