Michael Jackson caused a stir in West Hollywood yesterday as he took his three children on a shopping spree.

The eccentric pop star enjoyed a chaotic visit to the Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier store with seven-year-old Prince Michael II (known as Blanket), 11-year-old Paris and 12-year-old Prince Michael in tow.

The 50-year-old’s children donned school uniforms for the trip and kept their faces covered up with flamboyant carnival masks as they shopped inside.

Jackson also opted for the school look and sported a green blazer and red baggy trousers with his trademark surgical mask.

After spending over an hour inside the store, the group left the premises while an aide carried their numerous purchases.

It was a rare public family outing for the Jackson clan. The star has gone to great lengths to ensure that his children are protected from the media glare and the youngsters' faces have only been pictured once.

Jackson has been locked away in recent months as he rehearses for his 50-night comeback tour at London's O2 arena this summer.

He has not performed on stage since 2006, when he appeared at the World Music Awards.

But his sell-out This Is It tour at the O2 begins on July 8 and will run until February 24 next year.

Tickets have been offered on sites such as eBay for up to £16,000 a pair.

HTV is there as pop star Michael Jackson takes his kids on a shopping spree for vintage items and clothes.

Michael emerges from the car wearing a bright green jacket, black hat, sunglasses and a blue surgical mask amid a throng of paparazzi.

His kids are spotted wearing colorful costume masks while shopping at the Ed Hardy store on trendy Melrose Ave.

The singer mingles with workers in the store, takes a picture with a customer and waves and flashes the peace sign to photographers.

Michael Jackson Has Been Prepared for the Swine Flu for 30 Years!


All those years we made fun of Michael Jackson's medical masks, magic sleeping chambers, and preference for small boys are coming back to bite us in the collective ass. I warned people about this at his trial, it was like spitting in the face of God! Human beings are doomed! We were given a divine gift in Jackson and how did we respond? By mocking and jeering him and now the apocalypse is upon us!

Who's laughing at who now? While we all are dying in the streets from swine flu Michael and Blanket will be moon walking around our corpses because they were the only people prepared. The biggest slap in the face is they look so stylish in their swine flu gear! So not only will Michael be laughing his ass off as the human race dies, he plans on looking good while doing it.

The only positive news is that I will probably be one of the last people to catch it. I think you need to leave the house to become infected, and since I only leave my room once every three months to shave my hobo beard, I think I will be safe. This also means I will be one of the last people on Earth along with Michael and that is alright with me.

100,000 extra Thriller - Live tickets are to go on sale on Monday May 4 as the West-End box office smash celebrates becoming the highest grossing weekly show in the history of the Lyric Theatre.

Thriller - Live is extending its acclaimed run due to phenomenal public demand to Sunday January 3 - the first anniversary of its opening in the West End.

Thriller - Live, a spectacular, high-octane concert specially created to celebrate the career of the world's greatest entertainer and undisputed King of Pop, Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5, opened on Wednesday January 21, 2009 following previews from Friday January 2.

The cast now includes "X-Factor" finalist Maria Lawson. Rejected by Simon Cowell at the "bootcamp" rounds in 2004, Maria was one of the favourites to win in 2005 under mentor Sharon Osbourne. Maria even sang Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel" - one of her songs in Thriller - Live - in one of the early rounds. Her mentor claimed that she was a victim of the ‘Irish Mafia', referring to Irish judge Louis Walsh's decision to vote her off in favour of Irish act The Conway Sisters. This caused a media uproar and Walsh threatened to quit the show after days of negative press. Lawson's elimination was also a shock for bookmakers who had her as a 66/1 outsider to leave the programme. She did sign to Sony BMG in 2006 which took her to LA to record her debut album with a song written especially for her by Diane Warren. Her self titled album was released later that year and charted in the top 40 and led to a Top 20 single. Maria was also snapped up as the model for lingerie company Bravissimo. Maria's second album, ‘Emotional Rollercoaster', due out later this year, has been produced by Brian Rawling, who has worked with one of her idols, Tina Turner. Maria has also written a book about her experiences, ‘Life Starts Now'.
